Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2026-05-28

This Policy describes how the claude2code extension (the "Service") handles user information. The Service is operated by Algo Sentido, the brand under which Julián Osorio publishes digital products. By installing or using the Service, you accept this Policy.

1. One-sentence summary

The Service does not collect, transmit, or store the content of your claude.ai conversations on our servers or on any third party's servers. All processing happens in your browser, and the content is delivered exclusively to your local clipboard.

2. Independence

claude2code is an independent product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or associated with Anthropic, PBC, or with Claude, Claude.ai, or Claude Code. Users are responsible for complying with Anthropic's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy when using this extension over its products.

3. What we do NOT collect

4. What the Service processes locally

claude.ai conversations. When you click the "Continuar en Claude Code" button, the extension:

  1. Uses your own claude.ai session (the same one the web app uses) to request the content of the open conversation.
  2. Processes that content entirely in your browser.
  3. Copies it to your operating system's local clipboard.
  4. Opens Claude Code desktop via the claude://code/new URL scheme.

At no point is that content sent to the Service's servers or to any third party.

Extension preferences. We store one single preference locally in chrome.storage.sync: whether the user wants long tool outputs (transcripts, web searches, etc.) included in the copied text. This preference is a boolean, contains no conversation content, and syncs only across browsers where the user is signed in with their Chrome profile.

5. Welcome page

On installation, the extension opens a tab to the welcome page hosted at claude2code.algosentido.com. This page is static, does not include tracking scripts or analytics, and exists solely to explain how the extension works and to communicate the current free model.

6. Voluntary contributions (Ko-fi)

If you choose to voluntarily support the developer through Ko-fi, that transaction is processed entirely on Ko-fi's platform, which has its own privacy policy. The extension does not receive or store payment information.

7. Permissions requested by the extension

8. Third parties

The Service does not integrate third-party services for processing or analysis. The extension interacts exclusively with:

If third-party services are introduced in the future (for example, payment processing for paid plans), this Policy will be updated to reflect it and users will be notified with reasonable advance notice.

9. Payments (if applicable in the future)

If the Service offers paid plans, payment processing will be delegated to an external provider (for example, Stripe). In that case:

10. Security

The content processed by the extension never leaves your device, which minimizes the exposure surface. That said, no internet transmission or electronic storage is 100% secure. We recommend keeping your browser and operating system up to date.

11. Children

The Service is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age applicable in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect information from children.

12. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy. Changes take effect when published here, with the new "Last updated" date above. If changes are material, they will be announced on the Service's page.

13. Your rights

Since we do not collect personal information on our servers, there is no user data we can look up, modify, or delete on request. The only information that exists is local to your own browser, and you can delete it at any time by uninstalling the extension or clearing storage from chrome://extensions.
